ANDRES SERRANO
Andres Serrano was born in 1950 in New York City.
He studied from 1967 to 1969 at the Brooklyn
Museum and Art School, and lives and works in
New York. Serrano is an internationally recognized
American artist, having had many solo and group
exhibitions at major institutions in the United States
and abroad. Serrano is represented in New York and
Paris by Yvon Lambert Gallery. His work is in numerous
public collections, including the Institute of
Contemporary Art, Boston, MA; National Gallery of
Australia, Canberra, Australia; Museum of Contemporary
Art Chicago, IL; Fonds Regional d’Art
Contemporain, Cluny, France; Museo Reina Sofia,
