Dear readers,
Dear partners,
Hardly has our brand new company, Luxury Publications New York, settled
into its offices at 115 East 57th Street, Manhattan and we are going to press
with the July issue of LUXE IMMO. Packed with ever more prestigious
events, meetings, tributes, special favourites and exciting artists, this issue
of your magazine takes you from the legendary cities of old Europe to the
liveliest spots in the Big Apple.
Back from the 54th Venice Biennale, Antoine Guerrero gives us his
impressions hot off the press during an enjoyable lunch at the Gramercy
Tavern in New York.
In Milan, Monaco’s Tourism and Congress Authority presents an
exceptional A Night in Monte-Carlo event, punctuated by fashion parades
and mini-concerts. It was also an opportunity to discover the latest OraÏto
creations, as we wait impatiently for the opening in Paris of his first
hotel establishment, Hôtel O.
Our arts section includes works by some very promising emerging artists, such as Richard Bruce, Justin Carty,
Cathy Choi, Dirk Janssens, Michael Weintrob and Ulysses. The latter is one of the protégés of New York’s
CATM Gallery, the venue of a very entertaining opening night for a new exhibition by Dirk Janssens.
You are invited to join numerous personalities at the lavish reception organised by Jacob Sebag at La Petite
Maison in New York to pay tribute to Layalina Productions. The ambitious aim of this non-profit making
company is to forge links between different worlds, particularly the United States and the Middle East.
Éric Allouche, President of the Opera Gallery in New York, fills you in on the gallery’s history (third in the group
after Singapore and Paris), his work as an owner and the meteoric rise of Street Art artists.
You will also attend the 30th anniversary of Jumping de Cannes, presided by François Bourey and attracting
many prestigious guests and partners including the MP and Mayor of Cannes, Bernard Brochand. Equestrian
performances and memorable parties made this event one of the most moving occasions at the start of the
summer season in the “garden town”.
Valeriya Kravchuck, Luxe Immo’s guest of honour, also presents François Bourey and Charlotte Casiraghi
with two works specially created for the Jumping, while Fiona exhibits her work from the Ai Bubble gallery in
Monaco under the admiring gaze of HSH Prince Albert II.
This month our L.I. ART Collection section focuses on Susan and Michael Hort, a couple of enthusiastic and
influential New York collectors who hang a new piece in their apartment every year.
We return to Monaco for the watchmakers “Rendez-vous de l’Horlogerie”, held under the patronage of Prince
Albert II who is Honorary President of the “Cercle de l’Horlogerie de Monaco”, and will delight fans and
collectors of fine watches.
As always our real estate section opens doors for you into the most sumptuous properties on the French
Riviera and elsewhere. Discover a property right by the sea with infinity rim-flow pool in Saint-Jean-Cap-
Ferrat, an outstanding penthouse overlooking Monaco’s harbour, an exceptional property in Saint-Paul de
Vence, and a vast authentically preserved estate near Saint-Florent on the beautiful island of Corsica.
Finally, we take you into autumn highlighting two prestigious events: the Art Fair in Marrakech and EPEX, a
luxury real estate show which will take place in London.
